About the Fund
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Musicologie Fund was unveiled on November 29, 2016 with the goal of raising enough money to continue the Musicologie scholarship program into 2017. In just a few short weeks through the generosity of our amazing community of students, families, musicians and friends, we’ve raised $4148.26 in one time gifts, and nearly $100 a month in ongoing contributions. This ensures that our scholarship program is secure not only for 2017, but into 2018 as well.
But let’s not stop there! We have big dreams and we want you to be a part of it all the way. Together we can build something amazing and continue toward our goal of providing great music lessons to everyone. Thanks so much to everyone who’s contributed so far! More Below:
The Musicologie Fund is a project from Musicologie devoted to providing need-based scholarships to help families and individuals afford private music lessons. Scholarships are available for students ages 5 – 18 in families making less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Scholarships are awarded twice a year and cover 50% of tuition at Musicologie.
We believe music should be available to everyone. At Musicologie we’ve been privileged to serve an amazing group of inspiring musicians of all ages. But there are talented and driven members of our community who find it difficult or impossible to afford private music lessons. The benefits of music lessons are profound and it is our dream to be able to bring lessons to these students and create a larger and more diverse community of musicians.
